Technology powered by passion

We are the co-developers and owners of the licence to use IMT system — an innovative technology that uses microwaves to neutralise and recycle waste and thermally treat other raw materials.

We develop, deliver and support the operation of systems that rely on the latest generation of IMT-based devices for diverse users.

Our history

2005: Revolutionary idea

The concept of using microwave technology to thermally treat waste and purify emission gases was created in 2005 by engineer Robert Barczyk.

The development and commercialisation of the technology was handled by ATON HT S.A., a company specially established for this purpose.

Engineer Pawel Bronowski, as co-developer of the constantly evolving technology and chief engineer of projects based on it, has been supporting the project team since 2009.

2011: Obtaining a patent

In 2011, the developers patented a solution described as “A method and device for simultaneous afterburning and purification of exhaust gases, especially from furnaces, incinerators, and waste thermal treatment facilities”, obtaining patent no. 227971.

Based on this patent, further development of the innovative technology was carried out which led to obtaining a unique know-how on how IMT works and how it can be used.

2012: Commissioning of the first units

MTR 01C/08G – this is the name of the first device based on IMT technology. Used to purify fumes and gases from asphalt production facilities, it is still successfully operating today at Total Energies’ road asphalt terminal in Ścinawa.

In 2012, the MTR 02C/010G device was commissioned for MASKPOL to treat fumes and gases from warfare gas disposal facilities, including, among others, the disposal of World War II-era warfare gas residues. As of today, this device is also still successfully operating.

2022: SMALLTHINGS

In 2022, SMALLTHINGS, an IT services company operating since 2009, was granted an exclusive license to use IMT technology.

The decision to expand focusing on innovation in the area of environmental protection and RES resulted, among other things, from the desire to further develop and commercialize IMT technology expressed by its co-author and SMALLTHINGS partner, engineer Pawel Bronowski.

2023: New opening

The year 2023 marks a turning point in the history of innovative technology. A structured portfolio of the latest generation of IMT-based products was presented.

More than 15 years of experience, testing, and acquiring unique know-how have led to the creation of devices that offer previously unattainable performance and efficiency.

The offer is divided into two key areas: the first relates to gas treatment, and the second to solid waste disposal. MTL (Microwave Thermal Line), a complete process line that combines the two areas mentioned above, is the demonstration of the technology’s capabilities.

Objective: support of sustainability

Since the inception of IMT technology, we have been fascinated by its pro-environmental potential. We felt it was important to make the most of the opportunities it presents for more environmentally friendly waste management.

That is why we are investing our knowledge, experience and resources in the development of IMT. We know how much both the environment and the users who use our equipment and systems can benefit.

We are proud to offer one of the most interesting and innovative solutions in the ecological revolution. We believe that by relying on microwaves we can effectively promote macro-change.
